A plane of “Ural Airlines” on the route St. Petersburg - Khujand made an emergency landing at Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg, TASS reports.

According to the agency, the reason for the forced landing was a collision with birds at the airport of departure.

«The reason for the emergency landing was the collision of an aircraft with a flock of birds during take-off at the airport of St. Petersburg. Landing made safely, no injuries. Onboard there were 193 passengers, including 22 children, four crew members», TASS was informed in the press service of the airline.

"Moscow 24" reports that the crew commander after takeoff reported a possible damage to the chassis, and on the runway found the remains and feathers of birds.

The representative office of “Ural Airlines” in Dushanbe confirmed the news, but did not provide details. The press service of Ural Airlines said that the flight will continue after refueling.
