Four person were killed and at least three others injured in three traffic accidents that occurred in Tajikistan at the end of the past week, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.
Two persons were killed and two others injured on October 11 as a car crashed into a tree in Shahriston district of Sughd province.
The accident reportedly took place at around 11:45 pm. The 27-year-old resident of the northern city of Panjakent Abubakr Sufizoda failed to control his Opel-Astra and it went into oncoming traffic and crashed into a tree.
The driver and one of his passengers sustained various injuries and were hospitalized while two other passengers sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
The second fatal traffic accident also took place in Shahriston district. The accident took place on the Dushanbe-Chanak highway on October 12.
The 42-year-old resident of the southern city of Bokhtar (Khatlon province) Sulaimon Mahmoudov reportedly failed to provide road safety and his Lexus-450 hit a female pedestrian, the 45-year-old resident of Kuhistoni Mastchoh district. Guljahon Faizulloyeva died on the spot.
The third fatal traffic accident took place in Vose district of Khatlon province on October 13. The accident reportedly took place early in the morning at 00:30 in the area not far from the Hulbuk settlement.
The 30-year-old resident of Vose district Dilovar Murodov failed to control his Mercedes-Benz-180 and it went into oncoming traffic and cashed into Opel-Astra that was standing on the side of the road. As a result of the collision, the Ole-Astra driver Dilshod Hikmatov died on the spot, while Murodov sustained various injuries and was hospitalized.
