DUSHANBE , March 3, Asia-Plus -- Officers of the Interior Ministry’s department for combating drug trafficking (drug police) intercepted two kilograms of heroin in Hamadoni district late Thursday [March].  

According to information from the Tajik drug police, the detained drug courier proved to be citizen of Tajikistan but his was note disclosed in the interest of investigation.  The operation is still ongoing, according to the source.  “At present police are seeking the detainee’s accomplices,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor said.
