461 crimes officially registered in Tajik capital in this year so far

, March 10, Asia-Plus - Since the beginning of the year, 461 crimes have been officially registered in
Dushanbe
, according to information from the
Dushanbe
police directorate.
“The majority of them (374 crimes) has already been solved,” the source said, adding that in January-February, 2005 623 crimes had been registered in the Tajik capital, and 516 of them had been solved.
In January-February 2006, five killings have been reported in
Dushanbe
; three of them have been solved. Of 219 cases of theft reported this year so far, 214 have been solved. Besides, nine cases of robbery have been registered over the same two-month period; of them, five have been solved.
In January-February 2006, the
Dushanbe
internal affairs agencies have also revealed 44 cases of swindling and 25 cases of drug trafficking.
