KHUJAND, April 5, Asia-Plus - Abdusamad Ghafforov, Pro-Rector of the Khujand-based University of Law , Business and Politics, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of having accepted bribes   

Asatillo Urunov, aide to the Sughd prosecutor, has told Asia-Plus that Ghafforov demanded US$200 for reinstating dismissed student.  “The pro-rector was caught red-handed when he was accepting the bribe,” Urunov said.
