KULOB, October 4, Asia-Plus -- A prosecutor’s office in Kulob has completed investigation of case of Afghan citizen, a 49-year-old Ajabkhon valadi Allayor and brought the case into the Khatlon regional court.
Deputy Khatlon Prosecutor for Kulob, Alfattoh Roziqov, said the Afghan national faces charges of illegally crossing the border.
If convicted, Ajabkhon valadi Allayor could face up to five years in prison, according to the prosecutor.
Roziqov said that the Afghan was detained when he was illegally crossing the border river in the area patrolled by border unit 2133.
