DUSHANBE, May 17, Asia-Plus - Tajik customs officers have stopped an attempt by Russian national to illegally remove antiquarians from Tajikistan.
According to the Customs Service, an inspection of passengers on the Dushanbe-Moscow flight on May found samovar dating from 1907 as well as cooper jag and cooper wash-basing in a luggage belonging to a 40-year-old resident the Russian city of Zelenograd Dmitry Yesin.
Yesin was detained and an investigation is under way, the source said.
