KHUJAND, March 7, Asia-Plus -- 25-year-old resident of the city of Qurghon Teppa Saynouriddin Oymahmadov has got life jail term after having been convicted by a regional court in the Sughd province on charges of killing two minor girls, fraud, theft, polygamy, and robbery, Asia-Plus has learned at the Sughd prosecutor’s office.
The Sughd regional court on March 6 ruled that Oymahmadov be sentenced to life imprisonment and his partner in crime Manzoura Abduqodirova from Khatlon’s Bokhtar district be given 30 years in jail.
We will recall that on October 11, 2007, Oymahamdov and Abduqodirova burst into house of Mahkamov in Sughd’s Bobojonghafurov district, killed his two minor daughters and seized jewelries, $100 and 55 somonis.
