DUSHANBE, May 15, Asia-Plus - Mahmadrasoul Abrayev, a land surveyor from Khatlon’s Rumi district, and Bobobek Bobokhonov, the head of audit commission in one of local farming units, face fraud charge, according to headquarters of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption in Dushanbe.
“During one year, they illegally allotted totaling 12.6 hectares of farm’s lands to eight local residents for housing,” said the source at the anticorruption agency. “They received totaling 14,000 somonis and 7,000 US dollars from those eight persons for that.”
All illegally allotted lands have been returned to the farming unit, the source said.
