DUSHANBE, June 6, Asia-Plus -- Boboqul Abdulloyev, the head of the farming unit Istitqlol in Khatlon’s Jilikul district, is charged with misappropriation of 16,110 liters of diesel fuel belonging to the farming for 56,500 somonis, according to the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Abdulloyev under the provisions of Article 245 of Tajikistan’s Criminal Code – embezzlement or misappropriation.
Special commission has been set up to inspect activities of Abdulloyev and it cannot be ruled out new instances of infringement will be revealed, the source at the anticorruption agency said.
