DUSHANBE, July 21, 2008, Asia-Plus -- The Dushanbe limited liability company, Meridiana Trading, is accused of hiding actual incomes and tax evasion, according to the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption.
The source at the anticorruption agency said that during 2006-2008, the company, headed by Abdulmumin Ubroimov, has not paid taxes for some 400,000 somonis to the national budget.
“The agency has lodged a statement of claim to Dushanbe’s economic court for collection of debts from Meridiana Trading,” the source said.
