DUSHANBE, July 29, 2008, Asia-Plus -- The tenth united board meeting of the ministries of interior (MoI) of Tajikistan and Russia is scheduled to take place in Khujand, Sughd province on August 1.
The source at Tajik MoI said that the united board meeting is supposed to consider issues related to interaction between the ministries in investigating and solving crimes committed by transnational organized criminal groupings, plans of joint actions of the law enforcement agencies of the two countries in combating drug trafficking, as well as a plan of actions of the united board for 2009.
Minister of Interiors, Lieutenant-General Mahmadnazar Solehov, and his Russian counterpart, Colonel-General Rashid Nurgaliyev, a re expected to sign a number of cooperation documents.
