DUSHANBE, May 10, 2011, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon today morning received visiting Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Middle Eastern Affairs, Mohammad-Reza Raouf Shaybani.
Abbas Bayani, Counselor of the Iranian Embassy in Dushanbe for Economic Matters, says Mr. Shaybani who arrived in Dushanbe yesterday handed over a message from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
“In his message, President Ahmadinejad, in particular, points out development of bilateral cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan in sectors like energy and transport,” said Bayani, “In the message, Iranian president also expresses his opinion on a number of international and regional problems.”
During his stay in Dushanbe, Shaynabi also held talks with Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Mahmoudjon Sobirov.
