DUSHANBE, August 3, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Ambassador Rustamjon Soliyev, Head of Tajikistan''s Mission to the European Union, held a number of meetings with high-ranking Romanian state officials in Bucharest at the end of last week, the Tajik MFA information department reports.
Bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Romania in sectors like energy, tourism, education and culture were in the focus of Soliyev’s discussions with Romanian state officials.
The sides also considered issues related to holding the first Tajik-Romanian business forum and an exhibition of economic and cultural achievements of Tajikistan in Bucharest in September or October this year, the source added.
