DUSHANBE, August 5, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Pakistani Minister for Communications, Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan, is expected to arrive in Dushanbe on August 7 for a three-day working visit.
The source in the government says Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan is scheduled to hold talks with Tajik Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov. Opening of direct air communication between Tajikistan and Pakistan as well as construction of highway and railway link that will connect the two countries via Afghanistan will be among major topics of the meeting.
During his stay in Dushanbe, Pakistani minister is also scheduled to hold talks with a number of high-ranking Tajik state officials to discuss cooperation issues.
