DUSHANBE, August 23, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Embassy in Berlin has participated in an Open Doors Day of Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Tajik MFA information department reports.
Dirk Niebel, German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Hans-Jurgen Beerfeltz, State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, chiefs of diplomatic missions accredited in Berlin and senior representatives from international organizations functioning within the framework of financial and technical support provided by the Government of Germany in the field of development attended the event that took place in Berlin on August 21.
Tajik Embassy organized a special stand entitled “20 Years of Independent Development and International Cooperation of Tajikistan” with demonstration of documentaries in German and English about nature of Tajikistan, traditions of the Tajik people and the country’s tourism capacity, investment projects implemented in Tajikistan as well as political and economic reforms carried out in the country, the source said.
