DUSHANBE, January 31, 2012, Asia-Plus -- New Ambassadors of Vietnam (Le Man Luan), Italy (Riccardo Manara), Lithuania (Rokas Bertnotas) and Slovakia (Juraj Sivacek) to Tajikistan yesterday presented the copies of their credentials to Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi.
During short meeting that took place after the ceremony of presenting the copies of credentials, Zarifi expressed hope for further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation of Tajikistan with those countries, the Tajik MFA information department reported.
The sides reportedly also discussed activities dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment diplomatic relations between the countries.
Tajik minister, in particular, noted that despite good level of cooperation of Tajikistan with those countries there was considerable room for expansion of economic ties, the source said.
