Tajikistan and Qatar have signed a protocol of cooperation on labor migration from Tajikistan to Qatar located on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula.
According to press service of the Tajik Government’s Migration Service, session of the workgroup headed by chairman of the Tajik Migration Service Safiallo Devonaev and Head of Qatar’s delegation Zaid Rasheed Al-Nuaimi was held in Dushanbe on April 27.
The session was attended by representatives of related ministries and departments of Tajikistan and Qatar delegates. The session considered the Tajik-Qatar migration agreement introducing a series of changes and amendments.
As a result of the session the protocol of cooperation on labor migration was signed. The session has also approved the draft version of the aforementioned agreement which is expected to be signed as soon as approved by related governmental structures.
Following the official talks on April 28 the delegates visited historical and cultural sights. The same day Qatar delegation departed from Dushanbe.
