DUSHANBE, June 15, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Iran’s Vice-President for Parliament Affairs Lotfollah Forouzandeh Dehkordi is arriving in Dushanbe today for a short visit, a source at the Iranian Embassy in Dushanbe said.
During his stay in Dushanbe, Mr. Lotfollah Forouzandeh Dehkordi will meet with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon. He will hand over to Tajik leader an invitation from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to attend the 16th summit meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member countries that will take place in Tehran from August 30-31.
Besides, President Emomali Rahmon and Lotfollah Forouzandeh Dehkordi will also consider a number of issues related bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran in transportation and energy sectors, the source added.
