The diplomatic mission of Tajikistan in the capital of Kazakhstan will be built on the territory of one hectare.

Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali, within the framework of his official visit to Kazakhstan today in Nur-Sultan, launched the construction of a complex of buildings of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Nur-Sultan, the press service of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the republic reports.

Rustam Emomali was accompanied by the Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbaev. 

The complex of buildings of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Nur-Sultan, which will be built on Anatoly Khrapatiy Street, consists of five floors. 

Further, Rustam Emomali in Nur-Sultan took part in the opening ceremony of the street named after Rudaki and the bust of the founder of Tajik-Persian literature. 

Rustam Emomali also met in Nur-Sultan with the speaker of the Mejlis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatullin. 

Issues of building up parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, the situation in Afghanistan were discussed at the meeting.

Earlier it was reported that Dushanbe and Nur-Sultan would become sister cities - the mayors of the capitals of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan agreed on this yesterday.
