Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin yesterday met here with the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell on the sidelines of the 17th EU-Central Asia Ministerial meeting.
The Tajik MFA information department says the parties discussed the state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union in the political, economic, security, environment, as well as in humanitarian areas.
A constructive dialogue reportedly took place on the issues related to security and stability in the region, especially the situation in Afghanistan, threats of terrorism and extremism, matters of international agenda, as well as other topics being of mutual interest.
