DUSHANBE, December 14, Asia-Plus /Valentina Kodrashova/ -- Speaker ofthe State Duma, Russia''s lower chamber of parliament, Boris Gryzlov,is arriving in Tajikistan today for a two-day official visit.According to information from the Russian Embassy in Dushanbe, duringstay in Tajikistan Boris Gryzlov will meet with Tajik PresidentEmomali Rahmonov, heads of both chambers of Tajik parliament.
Theirtalks are supposed to focus on state and prospects of furtherexpansion of bilateral cooperation between the Russian Federation andTajikistan in various areas, including labor migration, implementationof energy projects, fight against drug trafficking, etc.
On December15, Gryzlov is scheduled to meet teachers and students ofRussian-Tajik Slavic University (RTSU) in Dushanbe and visit Russianmilitary base.
