DUSHANBE , January 11, Asia-Plus - Today morning, Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov met with his Kazakh counterpart, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in the Kazakh capital of Astana following inauguration of Nazarbayev as the President of Kazakhstan.  

According to presidential press service, in the curse of the talks the two discussed the present state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan .  Their meeting focused on drumming up Kazakhstan ’s investments in development of Tajik economy, including energy sector.  They also touched upon  issues related to supplying Kazakh fuel to Tajikistan .
