DUSHANBE , January 12, Asia-Plus - Yesterday evening, President Emomali Rahmonov returned from Kazakh capital Astana, where he took part at a ceremony of inauguration of Nursultan Nazarbayev as President of Kazakhstan.  

According to presidential press service, during stay in Astana Rahmonov held a number of bilateral meetings with heads of official delegations of other countries arriving in Kazakhstan to participate the inauguration ceremony. 

A meeting with Japanese MP and head of the Japanese delegation Nobutaka Machimura (phonetically spelled) focused on the issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan .  The two, in particular, discussed Japan ’s investment in telecommunications and the construction of roads in Tajikistan .
