Prime minister to head Tajik delegation to attend business forum and Hanover exhibition in Germany

, April 7, Asia-Plus - On Thursday April 6, Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov met with German Ambassador to Tajikistan Rainer Muller.
According to presidential press service, their talks focused on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between
Tajikistan
and
Germany
. During the meeting it was noted that cooperation between the two countries was expanding year in. “The two, in particular, noted that a number of agreements had been signed and the intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation was working,” said the source, “A group of German entrepreneurs visited
Tajikistan
.”
The source says the two also discussed issues related to drumming up German investments in
Tajikistan
’s economy, as well as prospects of cooperation in the sectors such as agriculture, mining, tourism, etc.
Besides, Oqilov and Muller exchanged views on the upcoming visit of Tajik delegation led by Oqilov to
Germany
in late April. “The Tajik delegation will attend a business forum in
Berlin
and international exhibition in
Hanover
,” the source said, adding that the delegation will comprise senior representatives from a number of ministries and industrial enterprises.
