DUSHANBE, April 25, Asia-Plus - On Tuesday April 25, a Tajik parliamentary delegation led by Saydullo Khairulloyev, Speaker of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) left for St. Petersburg to attend events dedicated to the 100 th anniversary of Russia’s State Duma (Russian parliament’s lower house).
According to Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Milli (Tajik parliament), during its stay in
Tajik parliamentarians are also supposed to take part at sessions of the Inter-Parliamentary Assemblies of the CIS and the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) that will be held in late April.
Within the framework of a four-day visit the Majlisi Namoyandagon Speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev is scheduled to meet with heads of both chambers of Russian parliament.
