DUSHANBE, May 5, Asia-Plus -- Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov has named relations with Kazakhstan one of priorities and main directions of Tajikistan’s foreign policy.
On Thursday May 4, President Emomali Rahmonov met in the Kazakh capital city of Astana with his Kazakh counterpart, Nursultan Nazarbayev, presidential press service reported. The two discussed a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
Their talks focused on economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. The sides spoke for improvement of investment climate in Tajikistan and participation of Kazakhstan’s investments in enhancement of Tajikistan’s economy.
