DUSHANBE, May 17, Asia-Plus -- Gulmahmad Qayumov has been relieved of his post of Director General of the Opened Joint-Stock Company “Tajik Telecom” (the state-owned national telecommunications operator of Tajikistan) in connection with transfer to other job.
According to information from the “Tajik Telecom” headquarters in Dushanbe, a decision on dismissing Gulmahmad Qayumov was made at a general meeting of the company on Tuesday.
Gulmahmad Qayumov had served as Director General of the OJSC “Tajik Telecom” since 2003. The name of the new head of this state-owned national telecommunications operator is still unknown.
