DUSHANBE, August 24, Asia-Plus -- Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov today sent a telegram of condolences to his Russian counterpart, President Vladimir Putin, over the August 22 air crash that killed 170 people.
President Rahmonov also extended deep condolences to the families and friends of those who were killed in the plane crash.

The plane was flying from the Russian Black Sea resort of Anapa to St Petersburg when it crashed near the Ukrainian city of Donetsk, killing all on board.
