DUSHANBE, August 30, Asia-Plus /Nazarali Pirnazarov/ -- At this moment, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmonov is taking part at a ceremony of official opening of two finished blocks of the residential complex “Poitakht-80” being constructed in the center of Dushanbe under support of the Moscow.
Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev and senior representative from the Moscow mayor’s office are also attending the ceremony.
According to information from presidential press service, President Rahmonov is also scheduled to inaugurate a hostel for students who entered the Dushanbe higher educational institutions by presidential quota.
As it had been reported earlier, the construction of this residential complex officially commenced in October 2004. This residential building is being constructed within the framework of inter-regional program of the Moscow government for construction. Contribution of the Dushanbe mayor’s office to this construction amounts to US$1 million.
One square meter of space in this residential building costs from US$1,0000 and more. The price of the cheapest apartment, consisting of five rooms and having total space of 318.42 square meters, in these blocks is US$350,262. The most expensive is a 6-room apartment having a total spare of 386.10 square meters. It costs US$424,710.
According to information from presidential press service, President Rahmonov today is also scheduled to inaugurate a hostel for students who entered the Dushanbe higher educational institutions by presidential quota.
