DUSHANBE, January 28, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament has considered a bill “On the Bodies of National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan.”
A regular sitting of the board, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon head, Saydullo Khairulloyev, was held on January 28.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that board had also discussed amendments to the laws on the procedure of settlement of administrative-territorial issues, holiday days, insurance and dehqan (peasant) farms.
The board also considered an agreement on friendship and cooperation signed between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
Some of these issues will be considered at the sitting of the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation that will be held on January 30, the spokesman said.
