An exception was made only for medical personnel, law enforcement officers and a number of vital structures.
About 50% of employees of institutions funded by the budget of the city of Dushanbe were asked to go on unpaid leave, a source at the Dushanbe City Hall said.
This decision was made in connection with the spread of coronavirus infection in the city.
According to the source, only the heads of city services, leading specialists remain at work.
«This decision will not affect those services that are vital for the city - medical workers, law enforcement officials, power engineers, water supply network employees, sanitation services, janitors», - a source said.
