I have no idea of the activity of ‘Jamaat Ansarullah’ group (‘Allah Associates Society’) in Tajikistan, but even if they do operate here they are not supported by the population, first deputy chairman of the Islamic Renaissance party of Tajikistan, deputy of the Lower Chamber of Tajikistan’s Parliament Saidumar Husaini said.
He said such groups may exist in Tajikistan in deep underground conditions only. “A great number of terrorist and extremist organizations appeared in the past decades. They have chosen Arab names, but Islam experts should understand their ideas and separate them from traditional Islam,” he said.
He also said that such organizations as Jamaat Ansarullah may be supported by some interested stakeholders to discredit Muslims in the eyes of the global community.
