DUSHANBE, February 5, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Tajik independent expert Zulfiqor Ismoiliyon considers that compelling people to buy shares in Roghun is creating a fertile breeding ground for corruption in the country.
“Although the president has repeatedly noted that buying shares in Roghun is purely voluntary, some officials make their subordinates buy the shares and the last try to repair their losses at the expense of other people,” said the expert, “For instance, teachers see the source of compensation of their losses in students, medical workers in their patients and so forth.”
According to him, this tendency will deteriorate the corruption situation in the country even more if the authorities do not take urgent measures.
