DUSHANBE, June 30, 2010, Asia-Plus  -- Leader of the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan (IRPT) also member of the lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of Tajikistan’s parliament, Muhiddi Kabiri, took part at the international conference entitled “The Role of Russia in the Islamic World” that took place in Moscow at the end of last week, the IRPT spokesman Hikmatullo Sayfullozoda said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to him, the conference participants discussed the latest developments in Kyrgyzstan and Palestine along with other topical issues of the modern world.

“Speaking at the conference, Kabiri offered Kyrgyz to use Tajikistan’s experience in reestablishing peace and national accord for settling the Kyrgyz problem,” the spokesman said, noting that the IRPT leader left Moscow for Geneva where he is participating at the international scientific and discussion forum, Europe and Islam.

The Geneva forum participants are discussing problems of Islam in Europe, political aspects of this issue, role and position of woman in Islam and a number of other issues, Sayfullozoda added.
