KULOB, May 19, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Training courses on construction specialties have been organized fro labor migrants in three districts of Khatlon’s Kulob region.
The director of the Republican Center for Adult Education (CEA)’s branch in Kulob, Bourikhon Taghoyev says some 100 people are currently taking training courses on the construction specialties.
“In all, some 500 people aged 16 to 45 are taking training courses at the center on different specialties such as sewing, accounting, welding and electrical mounting,” said Taghoyev “Besides, we have organized training courses on English and computer basics.”
Last year, 825 people took training courses at the Republican CAE’s branch in Kulob and 85 percent of them have already been employed, he added.
