DUSHANBE, August 10, 2011, Asia-Plus - For two weeks Euronews will broadcast TV commercial about Tajikistan. The campaign, which is dedicated to Tajikistan’s Independence Day, will start on August 25 and will last till September 9.
TALCO, Tajik state-owned aluminum giant, will cover all expenses linked to the production and broadcast of the video.
The TV commercial will be broadcasted on daily basis several times a day, TALCO’s spokesperson Igor Sattarov told the AP.
He said that this 30 second long video will contain information about culture, history, achievements and nature of Tajikistan. “This will become a kind of Tajikistan’s business card which we offer to Europe,” he said.
Asia-Plus media group will provide consultation to producers of the video material. Daler Nurkhanov, commercial director of the AP TV and radio company, who participated in the production process, said that “the overall idea of the vide is to attract visitors to Tajikistan and welcome them!”
The video was produced by the Austrian Rocket Media Communication, the company which produced commercial video about Kazakhstan for Asian Winter Games.
The production process took five days. “This was enough to film Iskanderkul Lake, Hissar Fortress, landscapes on the way to Anzob, Nurek and a well-known chaikhana in Dangara,” Nurkhanov said.
The video will also tell about huge companies, including TALCO and Dushanbe airport. There will be scenes with Tajik national suits. According to Nurkhanov, there will be no professional actors in the video film. “We selected ordinary citizens in those regions we visited,” he said.
In spring this year TALCO sponsored creative trip of the Russian ORT photographers to Tajikistan. Additionally, TALCO took part in the construction of the world’s highest flagpole which was installed in central Dushanbe.
