DUSHANBE, October 29, 2012, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon who is currently on a working visit to the northern Sughd province is expected to inaugurate a number of industrial facilities in Khujand.
Muzaffar Yunusov, a spokesman of Sughd governor, says the president will inaugurate a private enterprise, Rahimov.
“The enterprise that will produce paper from spoiled sheets has created 80 new jobs this year and 120 other jobs will be created next year,” Yunusov said, adding that Rahimov’s output will be exported mainly to the Russian Federation, Turkey, Kazakhstan and France.
The president will also inaugurate a private school, Irshod, in Khujand today. The monthly fee for studying at this school is 300.00 somoni. The school will accommodate 500 pupils.
Yesterday, President Emomali Rahmon inaugurated the branch of Agorinvetbonk (commercial bank) in the northern city of Istaravshan. Current loan portfolio of the branch amounts to 7.7 million.
The president also inaugurated the shopping and domestic service center, Sitorai Sharq, in Istaravshan yesterday. Local entrepreneur Hokim Homidov has built this center and a total cost of this project is more than 2.5 million somoni.
