DUSHANBE, January 7, 2013, Asia-Plus -- The Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs under the Government Tajikistan together with other government agencies is taking measures to improve employment opportunities in the country.
“We carry out job fairs across the country,” the committee head told reporters on January 7. “950 people were placed in jobs last year through the job fairs. The committee also helped 363 seasonal workers travel to the Russian Federation.”
Speaking at a news conference, Maliksho Nematov also noted that increase in the rate of juvenile delinquency evoked serious concern. “We plan to strengthen propagation of healthy lifestyle among youth,” noted Nematov. “78 information centers will operate across the country.”
