DUSHANBE, September 5, 2014, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmon has inaugurated a number of new facilities in Dushanbe, the president’s official website reported on September 5.
In the Firdavsi district, he reportedly attended a ceremony of opening of a complex including customs terminal, gym hall, driving school, printing house and car service center.
The complex has been built by the Faroz Company and a total cost of the project is more than 100 million somoni.
The printing house is the first enterprise in Tajikistan that is able to produce paper from cotton fiber, the president’s website says.
Today, Emomali Rahmon also inaugurated the Shopping Center “Poytakht 90” in Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district.
Speaking at the inaugurating ceremony, the president noted that the number of people involved in Dushanbe’s trade and service sector has increased from 27,000 in 2005 to 35,000.
