DUSHANBE, October 15, 2014, Asia-Plus – Thirty-two countries of the world have provided almost 49 million U.S. dollars worth of more than 3,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in January-October this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the report period, among the donor countries the greatest share in value came from United States – 61.6 percent; the Netherlands – 10.1 percent; China – 5.7 percent; South Korea – 3.0 percent; Denmark – 2.8 percent; Germany and Latvia – 1.4 percent each; Austria – 1.2 percent; Estonia – 0.8 percent; Switzerland – 0.7 percent; France – 0.5 percent; India – 0.4 percent; Iran, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, and Spain – 0.3 percent each; Bulgaria, Turkey and the United Kingdom – 0.2 percent each; and of the CIS countries: Russia – 6.7 percent, Kazakhstan – 1.2 percent; and others.
