DUSHANBE, April 14, 2015, Asia-Plus – Twenty-five countries of the world have provided more than 10.3 million U.S. dollars worth of about 6,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first quarter of this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the report period, among the donor countries the greatest share in value came from United States – 24.9 percent; Slovenia – 11.2 percent; the Netherlands – 5.8 percent; Denmark – 4.6 percent; China – 4.3 percent; South Korea – 2.9 percent; Austria – 2.8 percent; Latvia – 1.8 percent; Germany – 1.2, and Afghanistan – 1.0 percent, and of the CIS countries: Russia – 34.7 percent; Kazakhstan – 1.4 percent, and others.
