A resident of Dushanbe has been fined for his son failed for months to attend school.
A court in Dushanbe’ Ismoili Somoni strict has imposed a fine of 165 somoni on Dilshod Sadriddinov, whose son regularly missed schools, according to the press center of the Ismoili Somoni court.
The 11th grade student at School No 4, Dovoud Sadriddinov, reportedly missed school for 140 hours for no reason.
Tajikistan’s Constitution obliges parents to enable their children to attend school and that all children between the ages of seven and 16 must do so.
