An 82-year-old Tajik writer Muhiddin Khojazod, who was diagnosed with pneumonia, is still in hard condition, a reliable source close to writer’s family told Asia-Plus in an interview.
“He is currently in an intensive care unit connected to a ventilator,” said the source. “His wife Muhayo Muzaffarova died of pneumonia on April 28. She also had a high blood pressure. Meanwhile, their daughter, who was looking after her, also has a fever and she is in quarantine in the regional central hospital in Khujand,” said the source noting that their home had been disinfected.
