A signing ceremony of the European Union financing agreement to support rural development in Tajikistan and presentation of the Integrated Rural Development Project in Tajikistan are being held in Dushanbe today afternoon, according to the European Union to Tajikistan.
The project is financed by the European Union and the Government of Germany, and will be implemented by the German Development Agency GIZ.
The Financing Agreement will be signed by H.E. Marilyn Josefson, Ambassador of the European Union and Ms. Sabine Olthof, GIZ Country Director, at the presence of high-level representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, and Dr. Andreas Prothmann, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Tajikistan at Dushanbe Serena Hotel.
