DUSAHNBE, October 13, Asia-Plus - A team of Tajik young wrestlers is taking part in the youth world competition on sambo (unarmed combat), which is opening in Moscow today.
According to Tajikistan’s Sambo Federation, sportsmen under 20 and sportsmen and sportswomen under 18 are taking part in the competition. Some 600 athletes from 32 countries of the world are competing in this international contest, which has been held since 1973.
The contest runs through October 15.
