According to information from presidential service, during the meeting the head of state heard reports of heads of Tajik power-wielding structures on addressing modern challenges and threats, work on protecting rights of citizens and providing supremacy of law in the republic.
Rahmonov ordered responsible officials to enhance work of the power-wielding structures and the law enforcement agencies and improve coordination and interaction between them in realization of goals mentioned in the president’s address to parliament.
Participants at the meeting also considered the present state of the country’s armed forces and the ongoing spring conscription campaign.
