According to information from presidential press service, the meeting focused on a progress of the construction of facilities of statewide importance in the country, including Sangtuda-1 hydropower plant, Tajik-Afghan bridge in Panji Poyon, and the tunnel “Anzob”.
The meeting also considered issues related to taking timely preparations to ensure the regular work of the country''s economy during autumn-winter 2006-2007.
President Rahmonov demanded at the meeting that all necessary measures should be taken to speed up the construction work and improve provision of the facilities with building materials and fuel.
