Iran and Tajikistan have signed a cinematic memorandum of understanding (MoU), paving the way for further collaboration in the field of cinema, Iran Daily reported on October 18.
The document was signed on the margins of the first Dushanbe International Film Festival, Toji Somoni.
“The History of Development of the Tajiks” is the motto for this festival that kicked off on October 16 and is concluding on October 19.
Filmmakers from Azerbaijan, China, India, Iran, France, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan and some other countries have presented their works to audience and the festival jury.
