DUSHANBE
, March 16, Asia-Plus - The Fifteenth Festival of Arts entitled “From Vanguard to Our Days” opened in
St. Petersburg
on March 15.
This event is dedicated to the 110
th
anniversary of known Russian composer Dmitry Shostakovich.
During several days, works of this prominent composer, his contemporaries as well as followers will sound, and exposition of works of young painters will be held on sidelines of the festival.
Musicians from various countries have been invited to attend the festival as guests. Thus, musicians from
Denmark
,
Germany
,
Canada
,
Finland
and
Tajikistan
will perform their works in the festival.
